Located in Howell, MI on East Grand River Avenue, MJ’s Hair salon has become the premier local hair salon. MJ’s Hair Salon contracted Murray Property Management to do what some have have considered impossible. This was a complete commercial renovation project. You would never believe that this state on the art cosmetology studio was once a run down cell phone store.
There was an extensive amount of plumbing work that had to be done to complete this project. Not only the MPM run new plumbing pipe throughout the facility for the multiple head shower station, we also completely gutted on the guest restroom.
The restroom features custom tile flooring, handicap railing, wall cabinetry, hanging wall mirror, wall mounted paper dispenser, sink placement and toilet installation.
Throughout the facility you will find more than suitable florescent lighting. To add some creative design and practicality, you will find ceiling hanging hand blow dryers with retractable power cords. The salon also features a large wall hanging flat screen television.
The entire salon has had the floors replaced. Large 12″ tile is featured throughout the common areas, with smaller 6″tile in the restroom.
More than 80% of the walls within the facility have been resurfaced. New baseboards have have been added and molding have been repaired of replaced to ensure optimum beauty.
After resurfacing with new drywall, the entire salon has been repainted from ceiling to floor. Speaking on the ceiling, we have added to the salon’s trendy design by installing black ceiling tile and modern decorative chandelier. We also added a bold red accent wall and some custom wall art to bring it all together.
